Return Policy

1. Scope
This Return Policy applies to all orders placed with Peter Justesen Company A/S (“PJC”) and should be read in conjunction with the Transport Information and general Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Inspection of Goods & Claims Deadline
Customers are responsible for inspecting all goods immediately upon delivery.

  • Any claims regarding missing, incorrect, or damaged goods must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

  • Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

  • Claims must include relevant documentation (e.g. photos, delivery note, invoice reference).

 

3. Damaged or Missing Goods (PJC Responsibility)
If goods are confirmed to be:

  • damaged during transport (where insured), or

  • missing due to PJC handling errors

PJC will, at its discretion:

  • replace the goods, or

  • issue a credit note, or

  • provide appropriate compensation

This is subject to:

  • timely claim submission

  • proper documentation

  • compliance with transport and insurance terms

 

4. Returns Initiated by Customer (Non-Fault Returns)
Returns requested by the customer for reasons not attributable to PJC (e.g. over-ordering, change of need) are subject to the following conditions:

  • Prior written approval from PJC is required

  • A return fee of 10% of the invoiced value will apply

  • All transport and handling costs related to the return will be borne by the customer

  • Goods must be:

    • unused

    • in original packaging

    • in resalable condition

PJC reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these criteria.

 

5. Return Process
To initiate a return, the customer must:

  1. Contact PJC Customer Service or the local agent

  2. Provide order reference and reason for return

  3. Await written confirmation and return instructions

Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.
